We moved half way across the country and and had to take two cars with us. We decided to ship the cars with a car shipping company and hired ace car shipping they shipped both cars together and we drove one and should have shipped all three cars.

Sure, you’ll have to address that at some point, but you’re better off going to the FMCSA website and looking up information about a company–that’s the only truly accurate information you’re going to find on the internet.

These are great tips customers should follow when in comes to shipping a car across the country. If you are moving more than 300 miles the best option is to ship your car instead of driving it. This will spare the wear and tear of your car, it will save you time and headaches as well. Call a few auto transport companies and get quotes. Then read some reviews and ask questions. Educate yourself before making a decision.

Thanks!

You can simply hop on a plane and wait for your car to come to you. Another benefit of auto shipping is that it does not put any miles on your car. Although auto shipping does cost money, you save some money in the value of the car by putting fewer miles on it. In some cases auto shipping is a necessity.

If its not a valuable car, then its a good idea to sell it or tow it behind a U-haul. Great article though!

This may not always be feasible, but it’s a good idea if you don’t plan on keeping it much longer.
